Headshot of Yekaterina (Katrina) O'Neil

Hi there!

I am a homeschooling mom of two neurodivergent kids by day, a doctoral student in cognitive diversity by night, and a cybersecurity professional by trade. Born and raised in the former Soviet Union where the topic of neurodiversity was never discussed, I was thoroughly unprepared for the parenting challenges I faced. Having had epiphanies about the meaning of learning vs. education, the definition of happiness vs. success, and the value of being vs. doing, I am now on a mission to expand my neurodiversity advocacy beyond just one family – my own –  in an effort to spread awareness, acceptance, and support of culturally diverse neurodivergent individuals at home, at school, and in the workplace.
